[dev1213] Disable invite function to "Online" Status players?

Hello,

The players of my server is either too lazy or doesn't bother with the Seeking for Party status.. out of 150+ online players I've never seen 5 or more people under the SFP status.

Perhaps we'll need something to encourage people changing their status because it's causing a problem when someone who wants to look for party members through a list of players showing themselves as "Online".
There's just no way to tell if the player is willing to join a party or not.

Here's 2 suggestions I'd like the DEV team to consider if it's applicable:
1. As the title, totally remove the ability to invite "Online" status players
2. At least place "Seeking for Party" Players on top of the search list, so they have more advantages of being picked when comparing with those who doesn't bother.

I think you bring up a good point about a legitimate problem, but the solutions you've proposed only attempt to treat the symptom, and fail to address the root cause of the issue.

The reason people don't put up their party flag in FFXIV is because the process for doing so is too convoluted, cumbersome, and unintuitive. SE doesn't need to hide people who aren't LFG or give priority to people who are, they just need to streamline the process of setting your status to LFG. It should be like it was in FFXI, where you can set your status was a single button.

If it was as easy to go LFG in FFXIV as it is in FFXI, we would see people seeking much more often than they currently do.

Part of the problem is that they have hidden the seeking party stuff in a seperate sub section of the search UI.

I imagine most players dont' even know you can select the "your settings" to bring up a seperate window.

I suggest that SE add a button so that players are made aware of said window.

As the above post suggested it needs to be streamlined or made so that players are aware of the seek function, I would also like to see them add a LFP icon this would make players aware that there is a seeking for party system in the game also.
