Allagan Tome Ring Suggestion

While obtaining new gear with our collected tomes has always been wonderful, it's always bugged me that we can only ever have on ring due to it's unique branding. Then, you generally end up with some random ring you got in a dungeon or have to spend a nice fortune to obtain a second one close enough to the item level of the other ring to break item level requirements for some instances.

Wouldn't it be easier to do this: Have the option to buy one ring by itself with tomes, or pay a little more in tomes to purchase a ring 'set' that will fit into both slots, but they both have the same item level value.

You get the second ring (i320) from Lakshmi - which is incredibly easy and only requires 5 tokens.

when it comes to rings its usually raid/upgraded tome or upgraded tome/tome, but i agree another ring option would be nice
now that the relic weapon will have its own unique content i actually wudnt mind a relic ring, fully customisable and upgradable using open world content (fates, hunts, maps)

I've never understood why tome gear even has that UNIQUE tag in the first place. Supposedly the reason unique gear exists is to keep people from rolling on dropped gear they already have, so that other players who don't have it yet get a better chance. But that doesn't even apply to tome gear. You're not rolling against anybody for that.

So I'd say remove the UNIQUE setting. Let people upgrade their second ring. Let people who want to get two or three matching chest pieces but then glamour them differently do so. I don't see any benefit to locking people to one only of these items that would outweigh the benefits of being able to get multiples.
