Why is this still not a thing? I mean I love all music, but really, often I prefer to just listen to the area music without interruption of FATE music or battle music. This is just highly annoying. Trying to enjoy the zone music, just to be interrupted by battle music. Don't get me wrong, the battle music is great too but I would like to see an option to CHOOSE whether I want to hear it at that moment or not...SE please finally listen to your moneybags their plea!

I think we haven't received any feedback from the dev. team either, regarding this subject. I'd personally like an option to toggle that "extra" music off. I really don't know how these BGM layers work, but if they did with the mount music, I don't see how this cannot be done with FATEs.

Exactly! You can toggle mount music, so why not battle music?! Which in turn could serve as layer for both battle and FATE music as both are fight related. Yet even after all these years, still nothing has been done for it. Makes me wonder if SE ever listens to their players or if the good changes they made to players' liking were pure coincidence... I could understand if it was a new request. But this been 2 years! Longer even as that 2015 thread even spoke of 2 years ago...

I personally like the battle music but I agree that it should be a toggle option for those who do not.

If you want to get SE to listen, then you need to get the Japanese players asking for this. Japanese companies really only ever listen to other Japanese people.

I just want to be able to turn off levquest music. The song gets so old, I usually turn all music off, and play the zone song on my Bluetooth player.

I'd love to be able to remove the battle music and listen to the dungeon theme. It is awkward to start hearing the theme and then battle theme for the rest of the dungeon.

The problem with this, is that the old dungeons' music tracks are very short. If you stand at the entrance, you will notice that after it's over, it turns into a complete and awkward silence. Now, boss music, yes.

@Anathaer don't get me wrong, but ilI pretty much prefer to mute this MMO bgm lol and play my own playlist.

I would prefer to just have the sound of the wind if i were in the desert or the leaves of the trees and grass movement when im in the forest. A bit more realistic qould make me e joy the game better while having my own music in the background. Just like when i go out to the park to spend a nice afternoon outdoors.
