    /ac (Ability Name) <2>

to use it on party member in slot 2, regardless of whomever/whatever you are targeting. Slot 2 is the first party member other than yourself.

If you are targeting an enemy, you can do

    /ac (Ability Name) <tt>

to target target-of-target (which should (should!) be the tank).

Note that in full party duties, if you use the <2> target, you should manually move the main tank into slot 2 on your party list. Be aware that if there's a tank swap at some point, or the main tank dies and the other takes over, your macro will be defeated. <tt> will typically work better in full party duties, because it will be whichever tank is actually tanking at the time.

If you do something like this:

    /ac (Ability Name) <mo>
    /ac (Ability Name) <t>
    /ac (Ability Name) <tt>

then the targeting will be a little more flexible. Firing it with your mouse over a slot in the party list will try to use it on that slot member. If your mouse isn't over someone or that person is out of range, it'll try to use it on your target. If your target is invalid (an enemy, for a beneficial buff) or out of range, it will try to use it on target-of-target (typically the tank).
