Surprisingly enough, the chat window will eat away at your data. If you plan on hanging around busy areas, it's push the Mb per hour up pretty quickly.

Thanks for the heads up. Will hiding the chat log or disabling stuff from it help? Or will I have to avoid populated areas entirely?
