So,... who's sticking with RDM/SAM after the hype train passes?

We all know the new jobs were all the craze, as they were when Heavensward came out, LOTS of DRKs and ASTs bumbling about Eorzea. Now, after a while, we saw those numbers coming to a balance as the hype died out, and whoever was in it just for kicks went back to their previously main jobs.

I was a WHM ever since beta, but I was in love with RDM since FF1. Decided to ditch the old white robes and become a DPS, and do it with no regrets! (well, maybe one - the queues are so much longer now, lolz) I surely plan to keep it for the forseeable future, unless something really awesome comes up for WHM. RDM FTW!

Now I ask the community, who in there is planning to STICK with RDM/SAM as your MAIN JOB till 4.5 and beyond, getting a rapier/katana as your first relic/anima/whatever, spending your creation tomes in it first, using it in your statics? Who in there fell in love with those classes to the point of making your previous main into an alt?

I am always tank at heart and will always be but after playing samurai on my second 70 I am still debating if I should main it but again I feel the world could use more tank anyways

RDM is the most fun I've ever had playing a job in this game thus far ( I've been around since 2.0 launch ). I'm fairly confident I'm going to be sticking with it for the foreseeable future. C:

I was a DRG main but now I'm sticking to SAM unless it gets nerfed lol

I'll always main PLD and probably second SCH, but I've been enjoying RDM far more than I thought I would. There is a good chance of it saying my go-to dps job.

I am not sure yet. I love my BLM, but the RDM is close second. I will probably make a snap decision of it once I get my RDM to 70(64 atm), and I go for the verity weapon.

Was a Drg main since 2.0, always wanted to be a SAM back in FFXI but never made it. After playing SAM through all of SB I can tell it's my main now. The style fits me and my DPS is off the charts because I can use it so well.

I'll be sticking with SAM. Unless adjustments are made that lead the job to lose it's 'bite' in battle. I stuck with MCH throughout most of 3.0 but my true desire has always been a sword wielding melee DPS and now, finally, my dream can be fulfilled!
