Stormblood code is valid but cannot be activated

I am so fed up with SE support, apparently no one can activate my SB code even though it's valid according to the CSRs I have spoken to using chat.

I keep getting this message after entering the code (this has been done in IE,Firefox and Chrome)

You cannot use this function.
Please contact the SQUARE ENIX Support Center for additional details.
Error Code: i2501


It is the correct code which has been checked by reps to be a valid code, so please no asking if it is the correct code or not.

Why is it not possible to have someone manually activate it on my account? It has been a week and I keep getting copy pasted responses.

Still no response from whomever the issue was escalated too. This is ridiculous.

finally got a response and it was a copy paste block of text telling me nothing new. If SE cannot reslove this I will be putting in a chargeback. Ive spoken with 3+ agents in live chat and all I get are these copy paste answers.

i2501 is normally a payment issue and very common with the mog station, however we have seen in the past, that this also applies apparently to non purchases, and just is a problem with their mog station itself. Besides waiting for a couple of hours, there's not much you can do from your end, with that said, since you mentioned it has been a week, my advice tomorrow is Mog Station Maintenance, as well as Server Maintenance starting Jul 3rd @ 10 pm pst and will end Jul 4th @ 3 am, it can finish earlier or later, keep an eye on the news section. This might or might not fix your actual problem, but as it stands right now, that would be your only bet, if you are 100% sure that the code is valid and is not the valid EA code or some other mix up.
