    Right now, physic is based of MND because of SMN/SCH partnership and getting physic as arcanist.

    All I can say is wait for balances that come with 4.05

    You will definitely have a trait as summoner to base physic off INT, then will you finally be happy?

    No, I'm not healing as a SMN. I don't need and shouldn't need to heal any other player, Raising people can help save the raid but comes at a hit in dps but healing.... I should be focusing more on my rotations.

    If you want Sustain, ask for sustain back. Ask for an additional effect: Sustain added to Physick but we don't need another cure when we don't even need the first.

    Solo abilities were heavily nerfed in 4.0, and e decision seems sort of random. I'm also amused that summoners are seen as greedy for wanting to sustainably tank multiple world mobs when my healing classes can DOT up a bunch and heal tank them down.

    Here's my problem.

    At 60 for now my Physick (400 potency) is healing Ifrit for like 550 HP. The Role Action Erase(200 potency) at same level heals for 2000+ HP.

    That's a problem. Change. Now.

    Have spells scale with their stats pls.

    Although a heal for smn would be nice it's not the same as rdm. Each time a rdm Casts a heal they sacrifice 100% of their dps since they have no dots and no pet. A smn can still have dots ticking and pet attacking and only miss out on a 100 potency ruin

    False. Red Mage sacrifices one maybe two casts for their heals. At most, 3 seconds of DPS lost and a DPS Gain occurs if that Red Mage saved themselves from dying. (Much more dps lost if a Red Mage dies/Has weakness.) Their dps would be only be slightly lower at the end of a fight.

    Summoners have no way to protect themselves by reducing damage, and have no way to heal their pet let alone themselves. They are the only classes in the game that can't. Dragoon, Monk, Ninja, Bard, Mch and Samurai can all use either bloodbath, Second Wind, fists of the earth, Shade Shift, or Third eye to lessen the damage they take or heal themselves.

    Black Mage has Manaward that blocks 30% of all damage. Red Mage has Vercure. Tell me... What does Summoner have?... Not much... Summoner can't even heal their pet. You know what happens if a pet dies? 25% of their dps is gone, Summon Bahamut becomes unavailable, and they have to spend 2400 Mana to resurrect their pet, which either costs them a swiftcast, or they spend the next 5 seconds doing nothing as they resummon their pet.

    A heal is nice for Red Mage, but Summoner needs it more then a Red Mage does.

    A lot of people seem to forget that in the FF series, there have been other jobs that have had healing abilities, either self heals or spells. SMN is one of those jobs so us having a reasonable heal is acceptable, and made sense. And this isn't even about the SMN/WHM hybrids, this is just SMNs. SE needs to retool the Arcanist base class, or remove either SCH or SMN from it entirely. The Arcanist class should be about the pet, and all of the skills needed to maintain the pet, along with some basic skills. These include some attacks, the heal the raise, and all of the pet skills needed, sustain, rouse, initial traits, etc. Then once we get the jobs and start branching in either direction, then we can craft their unique DPS and Healer kits. It's sorta sad, with these recent changes, we can see that the "troubles" that plagued the SMN/SCH were easier to fix then they initially led on. They just added another bandaid to SMN, can't decide if its better or not compared to the last one. And the completely took SCH identity away. SE had a good thing going, but I wonder if this is a case of too many cooks or npt enough.
