I actually had the misconception before that the underwater areas are separate from the map but then I saw someone swimming on the surface while I was underwater. You can also see people inside the underwater air bubbles and vice versa. So, yeah, they are not actually "separate" even though it looks like it is. Still wished it was more seamless like the one in Archeage, though.

Same here, it takes my SSD all of 2 seconds to load the water up so it feels really natural. When swimming in the real world there's always that moment of bubbly blindness going in or coming out, that's exactly what it feels like.

But I can imagine how painful it might be on a platter HDD that takes 20 seconds to load the zone.

A) Immersive traverse between surface and underwater. Please, make it without this eloquent loading screen. The same goes for the underwater hubs. It kills immersion and make the world feel fragmented.

May I suggest you go to many Arabic countries & show the soles of your feet. What would you like; stoning or lashing, your choice? Don't forget to pay the fine too before you get deported. Or maybe you want to do it in Thailand & offend someone greatly.

You could also go to Greece & show the palm of your hand & see what happens. Try it in Nigeria if you want to start a tribal war.

But we have bare hands in the game, and games are localized for a reason so the "other countries custom" is not really a valid reason not to do it.

The heck? Leave us out of this ridiculous claim, we have no such thing. It's not custom nor culture or anything, it's just the matter of manners. Who actually showing other people the soles of their feet? Pretty sure if you shows the soles of the feet to anyone, you would get a frown.

I find it hard to believe that they would refuse to add bare feet for that reason when we've got this in the game:


Besides, the devs have previously said that giving us proper barefoot models would require too much work, since all the models are currently designed with an ilm or so of extra space for the soles of your sandals. The only barefoot options would be to make everyone have extra large feet or to have people floating in the air slightly. (Apparently they're incapable of moving barefoot people down an ilm.)
