I'm in favor of stopping this. This is a poor solution on the part of Square-Enix because it's no more than a bandaid, one that causes new issues.

To be frank, I only have one issue with this. One. It logs you out. It's not that it logs me out for 10 minutes that bothers me, but that it logs me out at all. That means my entire activities ingame are interupted. If somebody wants to do a dungeon, a raid, anything of the sort, they can't. They'll be kicked out. If I see the announcement that the maintenance is a half hour from now on, I know I can't do anything for the next half hour. By the time I'd get in a duty, there would be 15 minutes left before the maintenance. Which means we won't finish in time. Which means that entire half hour was "wasted". In this example I just gave, this maintenance didn't remove 10 minutes from my gameplay, but 40.

We know that the main issue right now, the large login queues, is largely in effect in the most populated worlds. That this system affects all worlds is ludicrous. I'm on Sargatanas. I've logged in during peak hours, without waiting more than 30 seconds, a minute at most. I've seen people AFK-walk in circles, but what's the point on our server? I don't think middle of the pack servers and lower population servers should also be affected by this when it's only an issue on highly populated servers.

In my opinion, keep this going only on worlds where the login queues are an issue. By having this system on all worlds, it's creating new issues for a lot of people that don't even have those issues in the first place.
