UPDATE: Never mind my world (Ultros) is apparently super congested.




i was playing PotD and i suddenly D/C'd and when i logged in, it said that "All Worlds are Undergoing Maintenance" And there is no reference to maintenance in the launcher. etc
Can anyone answer?

Yea, I'm in the exact same position. I was just booted and I cannot get back in, same message. It gives me a code bottom right------

everyday they are now forcing everyone to logout no matter what you are doing to purge the server of the AFK

All you have to do is read the info on the login page.

This is what I'm talking about. Circumventing the AFK timer is offensively simple. If they'd just taken 15 minutes to write an idle kick that doesn't force a command input from the client the way this one is doing, it'd work much better. Just disconnect someone who hasn't given you an input in 30 minutes... hell it's not like the server is shy about disconnecting you at any other time. Don't force the client to issue a standard logout command (which is what it's doing) at the player level. That command can fail. You need a solution that can't fail.

Do that and then you really do only have to worry about people using third-party tools to simulate inputs. But that at least requires some effort on the part of the player and far fewer of them would be able to do it.
