Stormsplitter Puzzle

So I dug up a video of one of my first few Susano fights, and I recalled that this happened.

I thought Stormsplitter was supposed to goto the main tank, and I was far off from the mt in aggro too. I'm really curious about what happened there!

Looks like the tank stacked on you and got you cleaved.

Wow! I guess I didn't even think about that, since most tank busters are single target.
That, and, you wouldn't guess that it cleaved normally since most tanks usually just sit tight.
....Now it's a little depressing to think that I was murdered. V.v'

You are not alone. When I did my first fight of this the tank in my group did the same thing and a majority of the melee dps we had got murdered, me included.

Stormsplitter looks like you're supposed to dodge it at first. You learn pretty quickly that's not the case as he magically whips it at you.

it will hit everyone in line with it, plus the radius is the size of the water that splashes when it happens.

I made the same mistake but in reverse.... I was the tank and when I provoked and stand with the tank taking the tank buster and we both got hit by it and we both died because I had no cd and healer panic and we died lol
