...in frontlines? It is so hard to target the other aliances. Yoshida plz...


Is there any secret option that i dont know or I really have to mess with targeting filters?

Normally I use the direcional pad for heal party and R2+R1 to "tab target" enemies.

I heal with no problems in feast pvp, but frontline is so clumky

If you have a mouse you can use... You can make a mouseover macro for it (use /pvpac instead of /ac)

Could be cultural differences but healing other alliance members is not expected in my group; it's a bonus if you do it. I play on pad too and find it hard, but with our AoE healing removed I find healing my own party a full time job most of the time. When I have time or the opportunity I'll sling heals at people in other groups to avoid losing anyone, but not if I have to flick my targets all over the place at the expense of my own party.

If they want to zigzag around like maniacs and refuse to come back when they're being focused despite being a group of 8x SAM with nobody switching to healer, they're just going to die. Targeting alliance members on a pad is absolutely horrible in this game (which is weird because it was ok in FFXI).

It is not like people are complaining to me for heals, I just want to be helpfull to my aliance.

And I play on gamepad, that's why I created this thread. In 24 man raids i can put a regen on MT and this basic stff, but in a frontline that requires quick targeting and stuff. Mouse over macros won't do it either.

I already saw Alliance like "team A : 1 healer. team B : 0 healer. team C : 3 healers" It's really annoying when the game starts this way. We can't even say it's because of leavers and then a healer comes to fill.
So yes, I hope some healers will look for healing at least the team without any healer.
