    Phew such a project
    so when adding mind my healing magic reading went up too, so I just show it to everyone.
    all these are from naked L50 con's reading... I don't think race is that important I'm a reindeer if you can't tell
    note: mind +8 healing+12
    cura avg = 1065.61

    so adding 54 mind to your gear set you can heal 64hp more on average. that's 6%.
    also, for these who want to use critical healing to boost up healing avg, I did 50 jade crook cura test...
    All I can say, as Yoshi-P to direction, keep believe it! it will happen if you really believe in it!

    So ya... I guess that's it. I'm pretty happy that I cover most stuffs I wanna know.

    Hi Deli,

    Thanks for posting your test results and updating us with your findings. It's appreciated.

    It's good to see how much MND is affecting Cures, but in your final test results (above), what about testing how valuable:

    * Healing Magic Potency vs. MND vs. Critical Magic Potency is?

    It would be good to see the ratio of how potent +1 point of Healing Magic Potency is compared to +1 point of Mind (MND), or over a series of casts, how much extra you get on Critical Cures from Critical Magic Potency, etc.

    I think that would be the final helpful piece of information to see what's most important in this category. Thanks!

    ^^ My understanding is that "Critical Potency +X" simply adds X to your damage/heal when you crit.

    Hmm, for critical Magic Potency (CMP) healer, unless you use the Critical Magic Rate (CMR) gears, it's hard to get something significant. However, since gloves slot has nothing else for healers (we know mp is sort of useless to con now) maybe you can also consider the CMP materia.

    In my test, I also have the all 50 average noted down. In general with +56 CMP (2x tier II materia), you can expect to get 15-30hp more from crits. However, I also have some 0 CMP and I get some +25hp from crits. So, it's really hard to rely on it. However, if you keep believe in it, it might happen. XD

    Healing magic potency (HMP) is really a tough one to test. The easiest one for me to access is the Woolen Cowl: mind +8 HMP +12. I tested it the norm average is 1065.61. Increased 31.23 from naked L50 con (no point allotment) That's also why I insist to do a Mind +8 test even I have a mind +7 From HMP+12 you can expect 27 hp more coming from HMP alone. However, if you check the chart, +27 mind already can get the effect of the +8mind and +12HMP. so +19mind can beat 12HMP... Then, ya... but you know I always try to keep my relationship with HMP union. or they will suit me and take my cookies :O

    since they all worked out fine, I probably won't go bother HMP part. At most I'll borrow LS's HMP wand and test one more set.

    Ah I see.

    So based on what you're saying (early tests) it seems Healing Magic Potency is more valuable than Mind, point-for-point, right? (+12 HMP = +19 MND)

    But Healing Magic Potency (Materia) can be up to +20 as well, so wouldn't that be better to stock up on vs. MND (on some pieces of gear)?

    Yah if you have a chance, borrow your friend's HMP Wand and give it a try. Thanks!

    holy crap people actually theory crafting in 14 O_o
    amused to see people are actually doing it (so used to this stuff being over-analyzed the second a patch hit in FFXI) Though with how much things are still changing...and are likey to change again, sucks that this might all be null and void withing a couple months.
