    1.20 Cure Test [Mnd vs Water Elemental Pot vs Healing M. Pot]

    Hi all, Please read #10 post for a more controllable test result

    Finally it's time for the new test.
    Since I'm lazy to make water wand for con, I did the test naked with following gears:

    Ligntning brand
    Water brand (water pot +11)
    Water brand + 2 Dated Aquamarine Rings (Mnd +14)
    Water brand + 2 Dated Aquamarine Rings + Woolen Cowl (Black) (Healing M. Pot +12)

    Here is the google Spreadsheet

    In sum,
    +14 Mind add 2 out of 438 which is hmm 0.45% (oh lord...)
    +12 Healing M. Pot add 18 out of 440 which is 4%
    Water magic pot doing nothing to cure

    I really should do the con cura test next.

    Hopes it's a helpful test for healers out there.

    oh some thing also caught my attention I need to do a Mind differential test! which is not curing me but cure others. Maybe it will be different cus the healing formula using the same magic damage one seeing the differential between caster and object.

    My testing shows +15 healing potency (materia) is about the same boost to cures as +21 MND (3 aquamarine rings). Each boost adds about 50 hp more per cura. So with nothing on but the +15 healing potency and +21 MND, my regular cura averages 1150. Interestingly enough, adding an additional +17 MND on top of this does not seem to do anything at all (average cura still 1150.) So maybe there is some kind of cap between +20 MND and +38 MND.

    Also interesting, +44 magic critical potency did not seem to affect my critical cures at all (1350 avg for critical cura, no gear.)

    if magic crit works the same way as melee crit then it effects how often you crit not how much you crit for

    for mages, there are
    - magic crit pot: add crit amount (supposed)
    - magic crit rate: increase how often crit pops


    On my new test in progress, I have something in my full gear that increase the crit healing amount by 200 (normal cura crit is 12xx -> 14xx I think it's my Magic crit pot +56 gloves) Since Ylferyf reported the problem she had, I'll test on the magic crit too... in the middle of the moogle event, so give me some more time XD.
    done 350cura and 150 cure on 7 situations now...

    edit: nvm I already see 2 crit that running in 14xx range (which is never happened in my coming test before). I was naked and with the gloves that +3 att m. pot (AMP), +5 M. Acc, +56 M. crit pot (MCP), +3 earth M. Pot. In the new test, I'm going to prove AMP did nothing to the healing. so it's MCP then... I'll be lazy and skip it :P
    so MCP should increase your crit healing number

    Phew such a project
    so when adding mind my healing magic reading went up too, so I just show it to everyone.
    all these are from naked L50 con's reading... I don't think race is that important I'm a reindeer if you can't tell
    note: mind +8 healing+12
    cura avg = 1065.61

    so adding 54 mind to your gear set you can heal 64hp more on average. that's 6%.
    also, for these who want to use critical healing to boost up healing avg, I did 50 jade crook cura test...
    All I can say, as Yoshi-P to direction, keep believe it! it will happen if you really believe in it!

    So ya... I guess that's it. I'm pretty happy that I cover most stuffs I wanna know.
