No Battlecraft Leves in SB?

The only leves I have been able to unlock in Stormblood are for crafting/gathering.

Is this intended or have I missed something? Been running searches on the topic but I've found a whole lotta nothing. I've finished the whole storyline and haven't seen anymore unlock quests anywhere.

And I blew through a majority of the regular quests while leveling my first job to 70 and I am pretty tired of spamming dungeons and soloing fates for my second one. (ಥ﹏ಥ)

Battlecraft leves are not available in the new areas introduced in patch 4.0.

I've been doing sidequests and roulettes on a second job, and only following main scenario quests with an occasional dungeon on my main. It's worked out pretty well, up to 67 at least. I did have to run an extra dungeon and a few hunt marks to finish out 66, though. Maybe it's about to become a problem... =|

I'm pretty sure the reason why there are no Battlecraft leves in Stormblood is because SE looked at how Temple leves were regarded by players in Heavensward and took that to mean players dislike Battlecraft leves in high level content, and decided not to bother with them this time aroud. Also there is a lore reason for it as well - levequests are offered by the Adventurer's Guild originally, with the Temple Knights running their own version in Ishgard. As Gyr Abania is a war zone and the Far East never had any concept of adventuring let alone would even know what a guildleve is, no wonder Battlecraft leves are not available in the newest areas.

Sadly I think SE just regards it as obsolete content that they've moved away from, like Guildhests.

Well, at least I know I didn't miss anything. They really need to add in some more quests or repeatable quests though. Once I finish the second job I am going to be in trouble for a third. I'm already getting really burnt out on the dungeons and the zones are fairly dead as far as having people around for fate battles, including groups looking to do fate farming. Plus I've had more than an hours wait for roulettes as dps and even 30+ min for healer, which wouldn't be quite so bad if I had something else worthwhile to do in the meantime. I cycle between what's left of the regular quests (which is not many), daily roulettes, hunts, fates, and challenge logs; but it is getting really painful without leves (or something similiar) as a filler.

Probably just going to forego leveling a third job just because the second one is like pulling teeth at this point, though I was hoping to have one of each type up there for endgame content. Guess it'll just have to be healer and melee for awhile.

I agree FFXIV is NOT an ALT friendly game.

They put in the patch notes during early access and launch that battlecraft leves aren't being added to kugane till 4.1...

Well its 4.4 and I dont seem to be able find battlecraft leves. And 6 beast tribe quests a day ain't gonna cut it. I on my third DOM/W and I've run out of sidequests. I basically have centurio hunts, beast tribes, and MSQ roulette for meaningful xp. Yesh I dont see how people do every class on one character.

There are no battlecraft levequests in Stormblood. There is however Heaven on High which can be used to level up your jobs, (very similar to palace of the dead) not to mention most of the roulettes give a ton of exp from the daily bonuses (such as Alliance Raids).

They introduced Exp bonuses on sb fates. Personally I prefer it as I can queue DF without losing leve allowances when it pops. The fates are more interesting this time around especially in Fringes and Steppe. I wish they reward leveling-gear from some treasure box in FATEs, like how Temple Leves work. I think that's all that's missing, other than amber-encased vilekin trade for right-side gear.

While I would like to see Battlecraft Leves in SB content, I don't see any more Battlecraft Leves moving forward. It's a shame since I liked doing it between queues to level up classes or get some items, gil, or seals. Hopefully they can introduce something else that can help with leveling during down time. I feel like some of the old methods of leveling are no longer becoming options. I am still bummed that they don't do Guildhests anymore too.
