    Canadians and the Missing CEs

    I feel like there are a lot of us with all kinds of information as to what's been happening with our long-missing CEs.

    Mine in particular displays that as of Friday morning around 4AM it departed Montreal.
    It then departed it a second time around 9:40 AM. It never indicated that it was in customs. After two calls to Canada Post, I learned that it had been pulled aside, and they suggested it was maybe because the label information provided said it was a domestic package.

    As in domestic to the US.

    I know some other forum posters have seen theirs make it to Montreal only to be sent back to Miami (? why though? ) and that others have received theirs only to find that the shipping label had barely any information on it.

    Any other Canadians stuck locked out of Stormblood because their CE is missing?
    Have you contacted Canada Post, USPS or SE? I'm hoping if we share information,
    we'll get a clearer picture of what's happening.

    I got mine in toronto 2 days ago but was charged around $50 duty for it (ontop of the already insanely high price and shipping).
    Always assume if it's from the SE store it will be 2 to 3 weeks late, and order a digital version on the side if you want to play.

    Sometimes it takes up to a month to get an item (like ff15 took 3 or 4 weeks to arrive for me).
    Just have to wait.

    "Just have to wait" won't work if the package was mailed incorrectly. That's what I'm saying. I contacted them and they said the label of my package is marked domestic US shipping.

    Yeah for my ff15 package, it went from florida, to vancouver, to florida, to toronto. Or some ridiculous path like that. I think it's just how they ship their products (or an error in the tracking being used). It's happened to a number of items i've ordered from the SE store.

    I was told in the past they can't do anything about it. You just have to wait. And you either get it. Or after 1 or 2 months you contact the store and they have insurance on it (or something like that) and you get your money back.

    And I know it really sucks. -ANY- time I buy a collector's edition from SE store I buy the digital version to play, because I've learned my lesson numerous times.
