Anybody else find it slow to do quests?

What I'm finding most annoying in Stormblood as a healer isn't actually healing... its questing. When they give you a quest to go kill a bunch of stuff, it feels like I'm hitting things with a pool noodle. Chipping away at it with Stone while the DoTs tick is probably not helping, since single button attacking is pretty repetitive... but it just feels slow and ineffective on top of that.

    Anybody else having that feeling?

Hmmm not really, if you have a choco maxed, proper gear, makes it go fast as a healer. If your still using Kiana wep or lower you may want to invest in a new one. A relic anima completed would take you to 70 easy if you have that. You could always just ask for help also.

I went through MSQ as WHM with the i275 relic weapon until I was given a better weapon. It was slow, painfully slow. I took Cleric Stance in combination with Presence of Mind to try and speed things up a little and it still took me ages to kill things. For as cool as Stone IV looks and sounds, it sure as heck doesn't do much. I know they don't want healers to DPS much but it felt like such a chore to go through the scripted fights. Especially Raubahn's Wall during EA when I finally got in. Holy crap those guys had a ton of HP for no reason.

You generally don't need to kill that many mobs. Like ManuelBravo said, a Chocobo can be helpful, but WHM and SCH have it pretty decent. AST is a bit more tedious single-target unless you whip out a buffed Balance, but they all get the job done.

yes, the chocobo is very helpfull and i used it all the time for my quests. the chocobo is almost as strong as i am so using him cuts my kill times in half. the chocobo is meant to help you out in solo content and cover up what you are lacking (damage for healers and tanks, healing for DD's).
