POTD floor 200 solo

So I know no one has done it yet...but I'm curious about the save files, do we still have to not die to get past 100? I am asking cause I've made mistakes went out and reset my save. I'm curious if they said anything about this and further wasted my time, otherwise it doesn't matter to me outside of knowing if they snuck it in or nah. (This is mainly cause they added that floor 200 solo achievement and that title is godlike but I kind of fear no one will be able to even do it) This is also in no way me asking them to do this or anything.

I assume you get the achievement by doing 1-200 in one go with no deaths, similar to the 1-100 achievement.

See that's part of why I fear no one will be able to do it is all I'm saying, cause as far as I know, no one has done it yet.

Unless they somewhat nerfed the bosses, certain bosses like certain meteor spam boss were literally impossible to solo due to lack of dps before the consecutive meteors splattered you on the ground

And this was the other reason...lol even Reddit was saying that hands down Behemoth will be the gate, because even 4 man parties most of the time are killing him during the second cast.

I dunno, the Sustain might be strong enough to keep the person alive if they are on the nose when applying it. Otherwise the strategy would be to make sure you hold off your burst dmg until that final moment making sure you don't use it at a moment when it won't be accessible to you.

the sustaining potion won't be enough to survive a second meteor on 180 I guess. some classes will need to use blood bath or mitigation (for example black mages who reached 180 will have to use virus on behemoth to lower the damage.
But you are right, the fight is all about having stamina before you burst it down. so you pop lust at about 20% ( I think..), spam sustaining potions, mitigation and give it all you got.

The two frontrunners for being able to do it, Summoner and Warrior, have both been gutted in 4.0, so it's even less possible now. I don't think anyone is gonna clear beyond the 170ies.

Paladin would seem the most capable option now. It was already one of the better options, just lacking DPS before.

As one player who is trying to get that done, I can tell that even Palladins will have a rough time. Their Damage Output on 60 is not as much higher as needed for palace of the dead, so they will have to watch their timers and reach the exit asap.

red mage and samurai are most likely slaughter machines, but when vercure will get nerfed (thanks to summoners complaining about physick) it will get even tougher.

So basically, if you wanna clear 200 solo, you need to know potd in and out, using pomanders for time saver and emergencies only.
