    While I also work with servers and code, every company is different and programs work in different scales. IT"S A NEW RELEASE and servers are working to a max capacity issue. Everyone is entitled to their perspective and respect yours, however from a business perspective it would be a poor choice to invest for a temporary fix that will later become an unneeded expense. Same thing when HW came out, how long did we have this same issue for? Personally the most I've spent waiting on a queue is an hour, rarely have any connection problems and even play FFXI while waiting for queue. If people are so concern, and know this happens why not wait a while, say a month before playing the game? Reason, people are impatient and think their special.

    If you work with servers and code, you would know about the existence of many server scaling technologies.

    If the backend was engineered to take the above into account, it would literally be a "do it right once, pays back dividends" approach. This would not be a "temporary" fix as I am not referring to adding servers and leaving them there post rush...and you would also know what I am referring to.

    And regarding the "impatient special" comment...if you're happy with paying for a service, like an ISP, that fails to forecast and rectify really obvious moments when their QoS would not be met, good for you. I'll keep my money and buy beer or something instead.

    So in some other words, you have no subscription ( maybe banned ) and just want to waste your precious time trolling because you have nothing better to do. Don't you have some server to work on or something?

    The difference between your perspective and mine is that of a leader and a follower. WE don't work for them and currently don't know what is happening on their end to give an accurate assessment of the situation FROM THE BACK END. If you consider your answer to be correct on all aspects great you are entitled to it. I have no right answer either yet I have always been satisfied with their company and being I work in a similar field I step back, take a moment, and think of the possibilities. I can cut them some slack. Now if this were to continue over a 60 day time frame then perhaps I would take your side more. Yet seriously, there has been improvement, at least from my end, compared to early access. There for Instead of being negative about a situation, why not use your knowledge for something proactive. For example, HEY SE Here is suggestion... While I'm sure a beer will satisfy your needs why not save on your electricity bill as well. Turn off your device and go tell your story to the bartender. /em "Plays the worlds smallest violin."
