oh no! competition for items and more game content that most people enjoy! pfft get over yourself. I would love to have a noncombat pet a little moogle with a black mage hat. As far as mounts go bring it on!!!!! Please im tired of just Chocobos, what about some tech mounts from other countries, riding a raptor etc.

I can see Barber and "Race Change" being good, a place to dump gil (or Crysta in the case of Race Changing) I have a friend who wants to change his race, but not Start from the beginning -again- lol.

I have only once server hopped (from PvP to PvE server on WoW), never once in FFXI. But I can see it being good, if you have friends on another server, and wish to play with them. Another possible way for SE to make some coin~ and help people play with one another~

Pet's are neat, but useless, unless SE goes above and beyond and does something else so that they are interactive with players or other players lol. (Go-Go pet races! or just cute customizable pets lol Inono)

I agree with another poster about getting other things fixed up and finished before working on "The neat stuff~!" XD

But it doesn't hurt to think about what new possibilities that could be in the future~!

1-Barber shop ( Can change hairstyle/color in town with gils)
2-Calendar in game to note events for LS
3-pets that walk with you can't attack and can't be attacked just for fun

I agree with you on the paid name change and server change options. They both make sense.
I also agree with the ingame barber. As mentioned, it is believed they're already considering this for the futre.

I'm not a huge fan of race change. Imagine chatting up some cute miq'ote one day, then the next day they show up as a subligar wearing roegadyn!?!?! I can see how some people might want to change their character completely some time down the line. Hell, I've even done it myself in other games. But still... Roegadyn... Subligar... ewwww.....

I would like to say hell no to cosmetic pets. The game is very demanding on most graphics cards at the moment without all those extra pets running around too.

I agree. Most games have a barber shop now, and I suggested one WAY before WoW got one. They can add more stuff to it. Just keep some of the ffxi hair styles unless you ad cuter miqo'te piggy tails like from lalafell.

Many ad clan only looks also like dunesfolk lalafell only hair styles.

i like the idea of the barber shop and server transfer, but do not like the pet or race idea. people should be able to move to another server if they get contact with friends from other games to allow a more friendly environment imo. if someone goes into a barbershop and wants a different highlight or hair color it's more like rl. the pet idea would fit some, but i'd be annoyed at the numerous pets in the way. if you start as a race i feel you should continue as that race. you cannot go into a doctors office and become another race if you dislike it you chose that originally and would not like that being changed.
