    Paladin class requirements?

1.One website said I only needed to finish 2 quests to unlock the class quest and others saying that I have to do both quests and have a lvl 15 conjurer. Not sure which one is right if anyone here could point me in the right direction?

2.Also I don't know if stats matter at lower levels but what's the paladin's main stats priorities at higher levels?

Level 15 conjurer is no longer needed. That requirement (and the equivalent for other jobs) was removed as part of the class/job changes in Stormblood.

Main stats for Paladins (and all other tanks) are VIT and STR. VIT for extra health, STR for higher damage output.

That's what I thought. I've been running around ul'dah looking for the Paladin's Pledge quest and I don't see it on the map.

The stat priority is vit for normal pve content since you need to be tanky in dungeons, it's different in endgame since u have a coordinated grp and no randos meaning you can play around with i270 str Accessoires. currently it's a bit messy since SE got the awful idea to revert the vit scale and return to str though this might hopefully change soon.

Job quest should start at the Gladiator's guild. If not, go to the Royal Promenade and look for Jenlyns.

From what I just read, the two quests you need to have completed are Sylph Management (level 20 MSQ) and The Rematch which looks to be your level 30 GLD class quest. I'd imagine you'd have both of these done though, given your level.

Only other thing I can think of is... perhaps there's a bug of some sort? They did just recently change a lot of things regarding classes/jobs so I suppose it's possible.

If it's on an NPC that has 2+ quests available then it might not be showing up on the map/might not be showing the special unlock quest marker also. Check the gladiator receptionist because I'm like 90% sure that's who gives the quest.

Ya, like others have said. If you duty finder, raid finder or party finder mainly. I would suggest using vitality accessories. If you are in a static or a free company that you run with, then I would play with strength accessories if comfortable. also you can meld some direct hit aswell. But atm! while leveling I would not bother too much, get the fending accessories and the gear for your job type from dungeons during your leveling time, as a tank you get insta pops, you would do well to spend most of your time in dungeons, along with doing your side quests, job quests and msq.

NB! Spending some time in dungeons is important as a tank it will allow you to understand your job as a tank possibly increasing your skill, while doing brain dead fates only will more than likely not help you in the long run, do them in the zone you are questing in as a bonus for xp though GL have fun.

Usually if you follow your MSQ and Job Quests it leads you where and where you need to go. Check in your journal under completed, that should point you in the general direction and look where you last left off.

IIRC, it's lock behind one of level 30 msq, so if you don't complete it yet, it won't show up
