Uh, unless they changed something, the adventurer in need bonus doesn't even give extra experience (or tomes). It only gives gil and, in some cases, company seals. Probably because letting the jobs in need level faster would, as suggested here, make them queue less often.

The idea of giving DPS an experience bonus is interesting, but the last thing the game needs to do is add incentives to queue as DPS. I could see a system that gives an experience bonus based on how long your queue took, perhaps. Though since you can do FATEs and whatnot even while queued, that might still be too much incentive to queue as a DPS. I dunno.
