If you're suffering from long queues, I recommend not using roulettes as your primary source of experience points. If some of the DPS move on to more productive sources of experience, it will shorten the queues for those who need to do the content for story progress.

That's cool, but that extra xp goes to that tank class and if your only playing a tank in roulette for the extra xp, I assume you are actually trying to main and level something else. So going in as a tank isn't helping you. Unless you are deceiving and main / play a tank class so you go into roulettes as a tank because it's what you play.

Uh, unless they changed something, the adventurer in need bonus doesn't even give extra experience (or tomes). It only gives gil and, in some cases, company seals. Probably because letting the jobs in need level faster would, as suggested here, make them queue less often.

The idea of giving DPS an experience bonus is interesting, but the last thing the game needs to do is add incentives to queue as DPS. I could see a system that gives an experience bonus based on how long your queue took, perhaps. Though since you can do FATEs and whatnot even while queued, that might still be too much incentive to queue as a DPS. I dunno.

At least the leveling and guildhest roulettes do actually give extra experience to adventurers in need. This has been the case for quite a while. It is not a large bonus, but it is there.

In a game saturated with DPS, I don't think they can provide extra incentives to play DPS...

I level multiple classes so whenever I do level roulette I'm more inclined to tank instead of dps just because of the bonus (which isn't too much but eh). So i dunno how other people are but I tank more because of the bonuses.
