I like the AFK-boot system, however I also understand that some worlds don't even suffer from congestion to begin with. Shutting down the whole data center at the exact same time everyday might be counter productive on the long run because of how predictable it will become.

They should honestly just patch the AFK-boot system and allow it to kick people out of the servers regardless of what they are doing. Right now the problem is that the coding of the autokick feature doesn't allow the player to be kicked if they are talking to an NPC, which is a big flaw. It's like on HW when the autokick would simply not work if you had a macro to do stuff or simply left the autorun on. If they patched it to kick people even when talking to NPCs it would solve the whole problem, because let's be honest, who stays 30 minutes talking to the same NPC to the point of being AFK to the system? I know patching and coding that kind of stuff is complicated but the theory is pretty simple: You're not playing, you're out so someone else can play instead.
