That depends on when you log in. I logged over to an alt on Balmung an hour ago and only had, like, 20 people or so queue as well. In another hour or two, it'll probably be at around 400-500, then go up to 2k by EU midnight. No idea what comes after.
Would make more sense to stagger it, I think.
I've been logging on after work(and log out and in a few times while I play). That's around 5PM pst onward. It might not be prime time but it use to be crazy long around that time.
Certainly would. SE's toasters have not in the past proven they are capable of handling very large numbers of people logging in simultaneously. This is a recipe for failure, unless they've fixed some things in their server architecture they aren't talking about.
