    406 error when trying to resub

    So today my GF is trying to login on the PS4 and it tells her that her service account is not active. She then proceeds to try and resub, however when doing so after inputting credit card info and confirming payment she gets a 406 error. When looking up this error its supposed to be an issue with the card but we tried 4 different cards now none of them work. Tried the live chat support option, waiting in queue for 3 hours and received Agent Joey who mysteriously disconnects just as live chat support is ending for the night. All i want is to pay her sub so we can play!

    One you get that error once, it blocks your account from using a credit card for 48 hours for the sub.

    The thing is, you can still use the credit card to buy crysta. I had that problem on my brother's account. That was the only way to pay for a month so he can play right away outside of getting a time card from like Amazon.

    Buying Crysta did not work got the same error. Had to get a game time card. It is 12:48 CST and chat is unavailable still. Email support says it will take 48 hours to respond. You would think square enix would help me, ffs all im trying to do is give them money so she can play the damn game. Issue I have now is she cant use her extra retainers cause its giving me the same damn error.

    When I had this problem, SE told me it was some verification with the bank that failed. They told me it was my fault for putting in wrong billing info.

    Just so you know, each time you try and it fails, the 48hour of block resets on the account. So, wait at least 50 hours from the last time you tried to make sure enough time has passed and then you can try the credit card again.

    I wish there was something I could help with, but I never got passed this issue. I ended up getting a time card and tried again the following month.

    I am having the same problem only mine has a little bit of complications when it comes to resubbing. For me I haven't played FFXIV in a month (I did not end my subscription which I should have done before). until 3 days ago (July 9). when I got back I logged into the game everything was fine the first night. only played for a few hours. But then the next day I had to confirm my status which I try to do that but the weird part is, It still says I have 30 days to play. (I don't know if its a glitch) But I realized later that July 10th was my last day to play FFXIV online by checking my subscription list and calculating when my 30 days will be over (But again on the mogstation it still says I have 30 days). I tried to resub but would not work and gave me the "406" code. It keeps telling me on the launcher that there is no Valid Service Account. so I guess the only way I will be able to play is through the time card instead of paying $15 through the mogstation in order to play the game. I'm still going to call customer service to see if they can fix my account when it comes to resubbing because its just avoiding me being able to play the game from the mogstation. But Hopefully the time Card will work for me. If anyone is having the same problem as I do and is able to help me out that would be great to. But I think your best backup will be the time card.
