    its not about clipping but about saving casttime therefor ruin ll might seem better than ruin lll -> more skills used more shockwaves thats what it's all about. ruin 4 procs could be worth it cause of the way higher potecy but just using ruin lll will waste time and shockwaves. ^^

    I don't get it, Ruin 3 and Ruin 2 have the same cast/recover.
    We won't land more Ruin 2 than Ruin 3

    ruin 3 got a hard-castime depending on your ss - ruin 2 is instant... thats why people testing those two variations in Bahamut Trance if I'm not mistaken... you can also spam Virus for an extra shockwave even if the Virus effect is useless or senseless by itself it that situation : /

    But the time between 2 Ruin 3 and 2 Ruin 2 is the same. (in theory)

    Also, Sunako has shown on the previous page than when we use R3 then R2, Bahamut will attack twice. The 2nd Attack should occur after 1,5 sec (bahamut 's "gcd") while we are in the R2's gcd.

    Now we need to figure if bahamut attack 3 times if we do R3-> R2 -> Fester/other

    yeah true.

    I think figuring out what's the best combo time-/cd-wise is the biggest challenge for this cls atm. In theory R3-R2-Fester-Virus should be a 7 hit combo with a total potecy of 1040 (150+100+150+4x160) without taking Ruination into account...

    Haven't tried it yet but is there enough time for a rota like this:

    Ahk Morn > Tri >
    R3/4 > R2 > Fester >
    R3/4 > R2 > Painflare >
    R3/4 > R2 > Fester >
    Ahk Morn >
    Virus

    + filling the remaining time (if there is some) with just R3/4+R2 ?

    edit: oh and what about the rumor that melee auto-atks trigger shockwave as well? heard it but dunno if its true...

    There is even time to do 3 Fester in 15 sec, about 6 GCD.

    About the auto-hit, i'm not even sure if Ifrit's auto hit trigger the Ruin 4, but at least it's easier to test bahamut thant's Ifri't auto hit.

    I'm i314 fully VI melded, currently pulling 4200-4400 dmg in susano ex dummy without party buffs and food.

    Some tips:

    1 - Use Ruin II to weave your OGCDs.

    2 - Spam Ruin III like a madman, you can spam it a lot now that we've been given lucid dream.

    3 - Before using DT, always check your aetherflow cooldown. If possible, don't burn DT when your aetherflow is more than 20 seconds. Why? Because you want to aetherflow as soon as possible when your DT runs out, so that you can use the next 3 festers inside the dots of your last tridisaster (hardcasting the dots only for the next 3 festers will be a dps loss).

    4 - Don't summon Bahamut when your pet is roused or has used contagion, as those 2 spells will completely go to waste. Don't forget to cast both akh morns. Try using Bahamut when your 3 aetherflow stacks are ready to use, that'll give more wyrmwaves. Use Ruin II when Bahamut is almost about to leave (if you hardcast one of the other 2 ruins it's very likely bahamut will leave in the middle of one of your casts). Use addle for an extra wyrmblade.

    5 - Don't be scared of using Ifrit. He's actually very viable this time around. Putting him on sic isn't that bad of a choice. Try it if you want.

    6 - You won't be able to do this always but if you see it possible try burning all OGCDs before entering DT, you don't want to lose any Ruin III uptime during DT because that can very well mean one Ruin III less at the very least.

    When do you use tri-disaster ?

    Do you open with 3 Fester or with 3 different Aether spells ?

    Currently, i'm not sure if it's better to use Tri-disacter right at beginig of the DWT, or 1 before and 1 30 sec later (but we loose +10% buff), or trying never clip the Tr-disaster buff (ie : not casting Tri-Disaster at the beginning of the DWT while another Tri-Disaster is applied).
    Make the best of Tri-disaster seems hard figure.

    For now i'm ilvl 300 with a 290 Weap and i definitely can't beat Suzano Dummy, while someone has told he did it with a 290 weap with 10sec remaining on the timer.

    Gonna try to post a video about it. I clear Susano dummy with roughly 25~ seconds left.

    I open with Tridisaster followed by Ruin II -> Rouse + Enkindle -> Ruin II -> Shadow Flare + Fester -> Ruin III, Ruin II -> Fester + Aetherpact (only with party) -> Ruin III, Ruin II -> Fester -> Ruin II -> DT + Tri -> Ruin III spam...and follows but don't want to bore you XD.

    edit: oh Koyu take a look at this (thx Eirene Snow) <3

    I have managed to find a method that consistently provides you with 11 WW (sometimes 12 WW) as long as you fulfil the following conditions:

    Have at least 5 targettable oGCDs up (3 x aetherflow stacks, 1x Tri-D & 1x Addle)
    For each oGCD weave, use it in the middle of your GCD cast. I.E R2 (0.5 sec wait + Fester) → R2 (0.5 sec wait + Addle)
    Remain stationary as much as possible
    Decent Ping (I have heard that people are unable to get 11 off at ~ 190ms)

    The rotation is as follows: R2 (Aetherflow + Bahamut) → R2 (0.5 sec wait + Fester) → R2 (Akh Morn) → R2 (0.5 sec wait + Fester) → R2 (0.5 sec wait + Addle) → R2 (0.5 sec wait + Fester) → R2 (0.5 sec wait + Tri-D) → R2 (Akh Morn) → R2

    *Note 1: It is possible to get 11 through other variations, just that it may not be as consistent. I am currently still in the midst of figuring out the exact portion of the rotation that is causing 1 WW to be missing in many variations (People are usually getting 10 WWs).

    Note 2: The best timings to use R4 procs is either through swiftcast or to hardcast it right after an Akh Morn.

    Note 3: There is currently an issue where Akh Morn or the last WW in Bahamut does no damage to the target if executed below 2s left on the timer. The animation still appears and ACT registers the damage but it does not appear in the in-game combat log.
