Exploration, Battle and Seasonal events are Achievement categories, not acheivements themselves. So there are more in the 1140 that aren't real.

Achievement “Gathering” Earned! ch-null 2011-12-15 00:00:00

Looking at one of those characters you are right.. Several achievements that should not exist or maybe only existed as a bug.

Not to mention the exclusive quests you get locked out of due to company/starting town

Still would be nice to get a list from xivpro website but they have not replied to my email
