    BLM 4.0 Enochian (my experience)

Haven't seen this mentioned upon my initial perusal of the forums so I thought I'd mention a recent discover...now this may be common knowledge for career blms' but I recently just "stumbled" upon it during a few level 70 runs, and since I stumbled upon it by relative accident, there may be others who are not aware...so I thought I'd mention it here. "Keeping Enochian up almost the entire dungeon, without if falling off"--pretty much the gist of my post. I was recently toying with various rotations for AoEs and discovered that since transpose has a 12s CD, the effect of Umbral Ice and/or Astral Fire is (in my cast 2s) longer... so I see a 13s CD for either and if I know I won't be able to get off a fire or ice spell to refresh it, I pop transpose... the interesting part of this is keeping Foul ticking... and in many instances, ending up with two fouls back to back during many of my AoE trash kills...

So there it is... enjoy and play with it if you weren't aware--give it go. Its pretty rad to run those dungeons and watch clock, while maintaining the ability to instantly trigger into a Fire IV spam to Foul or Fire III to triple cast Flare, to (max-ether) to more Flare to Foul...etc.

    Thoroughly enjoying this job.

Sometimes, not always. If you already have a foul ready to use there is really no reason to keep it going most of the time and i'll just let it drop.

I mean, you lose progress on the next foul by doing that. Double foul is one of the best feelings in the world.

That depends on the timing, more often than not you're better off letting it drop and start the pull with the foul already up plus get the next one the usual place in your rotation. Sure the time just MIGHT once in a blue moon line up so you get another one right after you used the stored but its rare.

You literally lose nothing for keeping AF/UI tho, and even if you only get 1 second on Foul, well, that might mean an extra Foul.
It might also mean nothing, but there's nothing to lose and only things to gain from it.
Ofc it's annoying having to hit transpose ever 12 seconds.
So by all means, let it fall off x)

I hate the transpose juggle and I wish that Foul charging worked differently so that there was no incentive to do it. Like, if once Foul started charging it'd keep charging no matter what happened to you, but the next Foul wouldn't start charging until you actually landed a hit with a Fire or Blizzard spell.

This would still mean that it behooves you to cast Blizzard on a random mob in preparation for an attack on your real target, if possible, but at least you'd be able to relax between pulls in dungeons.
