Wolf Marks to increase mount speed in PvP areas would be nice.
With GCP you can already increase the Chocobo speed in Chocobo racing

I just finished all the speed increases just to realize: After unlocking these speed increases, I actually have ZERO reason to return to ARR or HW outdoor zones. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I guess once they remove the extra zone instances from SB, and add gear upgrades from hunt books it will be useful.

Condensing allied seals into centurio seals would be a good first step. 2.0 hunts should at least be inline with 3/4.0 hunts by being one currency and 2.0 hunt bills giving exp. Just rename them clan centurio and move the GC glamour into GC seals.
All that being said further adjustments could be making all S ranks lv70, increasing seals from daily hunts while scaling them to each lv range, making a token that on use gives centurio seals as a random drop from content like maps/leves/diadem.

They're never going to do an unlockable speed increase in PVP after this massive overhaul to strip veterans of any possible advantage over newcomers. It's completely against their current strategy, even if the FL mounts do feel weirdly slow now when you are used to two-star speed.
I don't personally mind them being hunt-only, because plenty of things in this game are arbitrarily gated behind one single piece of content for a period (e.g. worthwhile weapon upgrades for a long, long time during HW - if you were waiting to raid with friends, you were pretty much out of luck). Hunts are the only reason I even travel much in old zones. I am unlocking the final speed increase in HW/ARR tomorrow, almost entirely from hunt bills and marks I already had, since nobody's hunting much on my server at the moment.
2.0 bills giving experience and some way of exchanging currencies (at a weak rate, of course) would be good buffs, Nama, I agree. On top of Diadem, the rare mobs which pop in some battle leves would be logical choices to give a few marks. Or the random bonus monsters which appear in Aquapolis. Or even the random NPCs who occasionally appear in POTD.

There really needs to be another way to get these. Getting Alliance seals is the pits even with the dailies, because the two highest mobs are locked behind fates that never spawn. I waited for The Storm Caller in Natalan today for a good two hours before I said screw it.

Hunts are like REALLY easy though.
Though making it available through MGP would be cool.
