"Two Vans are Better than One" GC quest missing

While, it is probably not the right place to mention this, I cannot seem to be able to receive this quest. I think the problem is that I rushed through the promotion process (my own dumb fault that is) without really looking what quests were available to me at the private third class rank , and now that I got promoted the quest just seems to be missing.

I was wondering if anyone got the same problem and figured out something about it. And if not, well I just wanted to put the word out there to be careful, as ranking up before accepting this quest appears to make you lose it permanently.

I also hope to bring SE's attention on this issue and hopeffuly, this will get fixed in a hotfix update, as this really sucks to be missing out on what seems to be a very cool quest storywise....

I recieved the quest from the center npc in the Adder's Nest. I have yet to do the second quest would anyone know of how I receive the second quest?

I don't know if this quest has a prerequisite or not, but looking through your completed GC quests, you haven't completed Imperial Devices (Gridania) or It Kills with Fire (Gridania). One of those just might be the trigger for this quest.

Sorry to bump this but it seems i have (almost) the same problem, except i couldn't get the quest to show up even before getting promoted, no matter what i do it seems i can't get Fulke to give me this quest... any idea why or is this just some bug that i gotta live with until 2.0? lol
I've done all the GC quests except for Ifir,t Moogle and some level 42 npc quest from 1.19, only ones i've not done are the 2 new ones

According to this, it could be you need to beat the easy Ifrit battle or maybe you need to become Private First Class or Corporal. I don't see anything here about prerequisites.

Hmm.. allright, i guess i'll try to kill low Ifrit and see if i get the quest, thanks
