Server log in queues and DF crashes, an idea how to fix congestion.

Duty finder has been crashing last 2 nights in NA prime time, leading to frequent 9006 errors that lead to 2k+ 1-2 hour log in queues.When is this going to be fixed? I read posts about people transferring off the server because of the latest incentives. It is not enough at this point, it was done too late, these actions should have taken place in HW.

My idea is to literally delete the name of the server, balmung, make 2 servers in its place and have people pick what one to go to. label one RP server from the get go, and have some kind of lobby for a week people can log on and view lists to see who is going where so they can pick and organize.

The name of the server needs to be gone for this to work, otherwise people be too emotionally attached to it from thinking oh that is the rp server, or my memories, etc.

For housing the current owners would just have a slip for a reserve. Since you are basically turning 1 server into 2, there is no reserve conflict, open housing to public much later, same with apartments.

How about booting the massive amount of people abusing retainers to bypass the 30 minute AFK timer?

honestly right now the queues are moving significantly faster than the days before, but I think it's due to people disconnecting from the servers currently spiraling out of control.
