Ran a lot of dungeons with quite a fair bit of Samurais. THEY.TUNNEL.VISION.A.LOT.
Friend said it's coz SAM's rotation makes them tunnel since they have to focus on their combo. Is that true?

Our opener is about 35s. however outside of pointblank aoe they should easily be able to dodge most while doing it. The rotation isn't complicated enough to tunnel vision. besides you can tunnel vision with any class, not just Sam.
Don't really have to focus on it any harder than any other rotation. Sounds like they just don't pay attention.
Probably has to do with the fact it's a new job and for most average players the rotation and their hotbar setup hasn't become muscle memory yet. Give people some time to get used to it.
WH- I don-.. I don't tunnel vison! I just stop paying attention for half a second..
Is it possible that no SAM has had the job more than about 10 days at this point and they're still getting used to it? No? They must be horrible people who tear those tags off of mattresses?
The rotation isn't super complicated but it CAN be easy to lose track of where you are in it, especially if you have to be handling other things at the same time which in just about every fight you do.
Even the most complicated rotations this game has ever seen has had people doing mechanics while doing them. It's not a Samurai tunnel visioning problem- it's a player tunnel visioning problem.
I like to get cheeky and use a hissatsu to pop out of an aoe, then enhanced enpi, then hissatsu back in when the aoe is gone.
But SAM's rotation is reminiscent of 3.0 NIN's if I'm being completely honest. Maybe that's why I adapted smoothly to it.
