But then, there's something that's missing in this conversation : what about asking ?
The guy playing the tank is human you know. If you just go "bigger pull please", he might just go away and pull the mobs by himself.
I'm not sure how it's about bias, or ego, or being a true tank or whatever. They're playing their game on their end, forcing someone to play your style is just rude.

Also low LV tanking is really shit in this game. They're completly useless and they know it, letting DPS get aggro won't ever result in a wipe in a any possible situation. Selene can tank early bosses, how is a DPS tanking some trash mobs even a matter ?
I'm pretty sure that not fighting for aggro in a dungeon like Sastasha will result in a quicker run as aggro generating skills do low to no damage.

So yeah : you pull, you tank.

I've actually always had the opposite experience in dungeons. If one dps goes afk, I normally keep pulling. Sometimes if a healer goes afk and I feel confident, I'll keep pulling. Conversely, if I go down, things generally go to shit until the healer gets me back up.

You can run every dungeon up to 50 with 3 dps 1 heals. Did it a lot back in the day.

That being said, I don't think anyone mentioned that it is relatively tough tanking low level duties perfectly, especially something like sastasha where you have like 4 skills and hardly any decent gear.

Suggestions for the OP if he is still around, see if you have any crafter friends (unless you yourself are a crafter) and try to make sure you have up-to-date HQ gear every 5-10 levels, and use the regular metal STR/DEX accessories (not the jeweled ones), and meld vit to them if you want.

And then keep at it. You'll eventually have a good understanding of how many times to flash, how to rotate your enmity combo, and get better at pulling and positioning, not letting the little stuff bother you, etc. Just takes practice.
