Yeah, there's one later one where you have to share the damage.During Akh Morn, he also uses another version(Akh Reim or something) on a non-tank party member. I'm pretty sure you want to avoid the puddles for the purple markers, since they reduce your lightning resistance, but I haven't tried it.
It's a test of all the ARR primals and Bahamut Prime, which is something I really like.
Took our group 3 times. Not hard at all
After my first dead, hard to have time to resuscitate my fairy. Now leveling Ast (lv66) to try with that job. I have Bard lv70, but my friend insists that I play as healer for her.
But this trial demands good healer, and I do not be good, only average. Anyhway, next week I try again.
Agreed with many others. It actually FEELS like a end boss fight. Not something you can cheese through like Thordon Normal. Its a super fun fight with lots of interacting mechanics.
That is the problem! Right there. This and POTD. It killed game . Too many badiesOh, look. It's the obligatory "I can't stand having content that isn't super easy! So I demand you nerf it so I can faceroll it rather than learning how to get better!" post that shows up every expansion. Not exactly unexpected. Seeing as bads still insist on refusing to learn how to play the game or work with others. A problem only made even worse by newer players who join the game and immediately level jump and story skip straight to Stormblood.
If u dont feel confident dont play healer. Healer is the most demanding job and your friend is wrong . If u fail as a dps u just die and u are bad. If u fail as a healer it can cost the whole run :PAfter my first dead, hard to have time to resuscitate my fairy. Now leveling Ast (lv66) to try with that job. I know. Generally I avoid do trial as healer :/
My anima weapon for Ast and Scholar stopped in 260 when I saw was need do trials Containment Bay. Only completed for Bard.
I prefer to heal this trial but I say they should leave the difficulty alone. It is currently the final trial after all.
Also it's fun!
I don't think it needs a overall nerf to be honest. The problem is people who refuse to follow mechanics which causes grief at one point I was beginning to think Id be blocked from continuing the story 3 days of nothing but wipes on my data center (Albeit i think myself and my brother were just rather unlucky on getting bad groups) but finally found a group that could listen to polite guiding on what to avoid and what to do and I got it finally . Difficulty curve for a MSQ yes nerf it? not so much more a fact that people need to A Make sure they have done their final level 70 job quest first ( so many times groups with greys still ) and B pay attention to telegraphed markers and move out of the nasty stuff..
I beat it on my 2nd queue. I admit it's more tries than a lot of other people, but I would not change one thing about the fight. For the first time, it felt like an accomplishment beating the main story. The difficulty was just perfect
