Unable to control the "Red Baron"

I am trying to do the "Fly Free, My Pretty" MSQ, and when I get to the part where I have to use the "Red Baron" magitek machine, I do not have any of the red control buttons on my screen, so I just have to wait to die to restart the event. I have used the HUD to move the Action windows, rebooted, downloaded current drivers for my GPU (Radeon R7),
confirmed the DX 11 button was on, although my system has DX 12, and the issue persists.
