we need a high res texture pack as an optional download

I'm ok with the "shitty" animations since they have to adapt them for every hardware, but a HD textures pack should be a MUST since it was promised bac on 2.0.

They already have the HD textures so it should be easy to implement.

I think you are wrong in what i marked, there are MMOs that have HQ movement animation & they are doing fine, no issues with better movement animation so what you said above is like telling SE "don't improve it's good now b/c of hardware issues" even though it's not true.

Just don't say things that stop this game from getting better & that's what we all want.

Anyways I'll be cancelling my sub with FFXIV in the end of this month if our feedback is not valued by them & no positive reply from reps.

Now they probably should update the hair, because as much as these hair styles are nice, they are suffering from DX9 fatique in shading. Like, this is what V2.0 looked like:
