So i beat heavensward and stopped playing. In the past if i took a break for too long the story would have progressed and i would be playing catch up for weeks(playing some boring filler quests like they did with ARR before HW.

So i bought the tales of Adventure and thought i could read what happened after heavenward and before SB. but i cant find anything.

Can someone point me to an article or give me a quick summary of the story so far.

Have you tried looking up cut scenes in an inn room?

Mhm... I'd first go into the inn to see if the quests for HW are in there - then you can watch all the cutscenes yourself.
