    Please help! I don't have SB code eventhough I preordered it.

    I pre-ordered the game from Green Man Gaming and got the early access code without problems. But apparently some time later they decided to deactivate my account for some reason so I neither got the new code via mail, nor can access my account to get the code from the website now. I tried submitting tickets there but things aren't looking bright right now and I'm really starting to get worried. Could I get Stormblood activated for my account manually without using the code please? I've already levelled bard to 70 so that must be enough reason that I bought the expansion. I'd appreciate if someone could help me. Thanks.

    SE can't help you with problems of another retailer, you will have to take it up with green man gaming to get your SB key.

    What if they don't give me the code I paid for? Is SE just gonna leave me like that? I bought the expansion, and I have proof. Why can't SE just activate Stormblood for me? That's not how you should treat your customers.

    You're not SEs direct customer. You are Green Man Gamings. You need to go to the retailer. If SE activates it for you, then you receive your code from GMG? You just got 2 copies of the game.

    Except you not really a customer of SE when it comes to this as SE doesn't actually sell the game or expansion. Even their branded store not even run by them it run by a 3rd party. So trying to say SE is treating you badly is not the case.

    I am sorry to say this, but SE can only help you if either the code you got does not work, or you bought it from the SE Store.

    Since you never got the code and you did not order from SE, they cannot help you out.

    If you have proof of a receipt and the credit card statement showing the charge, then you have 2 options:
    1. You can raise a complaint and work it out with GMG for the code.
    2. You can contact your credit card company and report the fraud charge and have them reverse it and just buy it from another vendor.

    If you have a receipt, but there is no charge on your credit card, then you actually did not purchase it. Then you will have to place the order with another vendor if you cannot get the account at GMG open.

    If you have no receipt, but you have a charge on your credit card, then you can try the steps I listed above with the 2 options.

    I wish you the best of luck as this sounds like it could take more than a couple of business days. Do not wait long as most credit card companies will only allow a refund to be given within a certain amount of time for reversing a charge.

    It's like going to MC Donald's and ordering chicken nuggets, then driving to Burger King trying to return these, calling and blaming Carls Jr. for not caring about their customers.

    If you purchased the game from a third party vendor/retailer, you will have to deal with them and their customer service. As others have mentioned, SE can't and won't and shouldn't do anything about that, you did have the option to purchase the game from SE itself, but you didn't. Not saying SE's store was a better option since we know the problems that occurred with that, however they can only give their customers the service and not people that haven't even purchased the product off them.
