    Lvl 70 priorities

So I just hit 70 on my ast and this is the first time I will be playing ffxiv at max level.

What should my priorities be to gear up/make gil/do whatever i need to do for end game

I was trying to find a guide online but I guess its still too early with SB just comming out.

Thank for any suggestions or if you happen to know a guide plz link.

Learn your job if it's your main, Maximize your gear potential ilvl 300 ect, unlock all content ( dungeons, trials, ect )If you do DoH or DoL I would max them out (make gill while your doing so ). DoH lets you repair gear in dungeons and such. If your into achievements do area boss fates while waiting ect. MOST IMPORTANTLY....HAVE FUN!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40UlztLX9Uc this may help with the unlock. Now if you want to try the new ex fights then gear up and try some learning parties.

There is none. It depends on what you want from the game.

If you want to do Savage content, you will need to collect enough Verity tomes so that you can clear and farm the two EX primals so that within 2 weeks you have i320 weapon + accessories and i310 equipment everywhere else.

There are reasons for and against rushing that.

For: the earlier you do it the easier it is to get into learning and farm parties.

Against: the time you spend doing this, other players are making tons of gil on the market board with their crafters and gatherers which you haven't leveled yet.

you can also level another job to 70 so that you are more flexible doing other end game content.

there's no right or wrong, everyone has a different situation and resources available to them.

first priority should be learning your class and maxing your ilvl to 310+ as we'll most likely have new content within the next couple of weeks. While doing that try to learn the dungeons and trials as much as possible, so that you're not a hindrance to any teams in the future. Above all else try to enjoy the game as much as possible

Awesome. Thabks for all the suggestions. Gearing up will be my main priority cause I want to see the endgame raids. So i will learn all of them and pratice.

What are the best ways to gear up. Its probably those tombstones things. What are the more effective ways of getting them?

There's only 1 way, Verity tomes and clearing Extreme primals. Lakshimi EX is easy enough that you do not to buy the Earring, Necklace and Bracelet. Buy a weapon first unless you have an i300 weapon from the Lv 70 dungeons and some other pieces are severely undergeared (like i270 or less).

Best way to get tomes is to do all your daily roulettes if they give Verity and PvP if you like it or just keep spamming Expert roulette even without the bonus. and Hunt if you can stand that and have a good LS.

Ideally, focus on getting to i300 first, then continue to do roulettes daily while joining parties for the EX Primals. Ideally, you would want your i320 Weapon, your 4 i320 accessories, and i310 in all other pieces, with materia melded (V's are honestly good enough at the moment, not to mention incredibly cheap, but VI's are ideal) before Omega hits. However, it is unlikely that you would need to be geared this much to clear Omega Normal; it would just make things a bit smoother.

I would say it depends entirely on what you enjoy doing the most, and that's not something we can tell you.

For me, I enjoy gathering and crafting most, so, now that I've finished SB's main story on my BRD, I'm casually leveling up AST to 70 but concentrating on gathering and crafting.

What I would recommend, if you do want to make gil and still gear up, is simply leveling up gathering and crafting (I'd recommend leves for gathering, and Ixali dailies for crafting up to 50, then switching to Moogle dailies at 50), and do your daily roulettes for tomes. That way you get a little bit of everything. I'd also recommend (and this is the slow but steady way) that you level up gathering and crafting together. It's slow as hell, but it is 100% pure profit. The only thing you will spend gil on is Marble Eye from the GSM guild to make a quest item, which costs 10gil. 99.99% of everything you will ever need you will be able to gather or craft for yourself.
