Guys, it is ok! SE has resolved the issue. The problem is that too many people are playing their game at the same time. Their solution is to not spend money on upgrading the server to handle the increase load and do these 2 things instead:

1. Wait till people give up or log off for bed or to eat and claim it is resolved
2. Claim there was more DDOS attacks

EDIT: I know, I am being a bit bitter about this, but as a software developer and previous employed as a computer technician, I am very upset that these problems are happening when they could have been pro-active about it. They had all the data from the pre-orders and past release to know what should have been done to reduce the chance of this happening and instead, they added 2 new servers for EU and moved the ones for NA and that was it.....

At this point, some bitterness seems justified. Normally I'm the one telling people to not get worked up over temporary server issues. They happen, I get it. But this has been going on for over a week at this point. THAT doesn't happen. This is inexcusable.

Setting up a new server takes awhile, on average at least 2 to 4 months. That is why you have to be pro-active. Most companies now use data of current active players during peak times, preorder counts, and past releases to determine what to do and if new servers need to be setup.

What also makes me so mad about this is every time they do a release of new content, they tend to do a free login. From my experience, that is the worse time to do that when they are trying to skimp on cost of maintenance and have as little of servers as possible. Seriously, what happened to all the planning and reviewing process of past events to tell if new servers need to be set up? Heck, maybe instead of adding in new worlds, how about new instance servers?

On a side note, I think they thought they could stop people from wanting to use PotD, Frontline, or rushing the main story by bumping up exp from FATEs. Well.... SE, there is one problem with that. You cannot cross-server with friends to do hunts and fates!
