Free Company Transfer Update

Seeing that we are well into the launch of 4.0 Is there any update on transferring Free Companies and the incentives such as transferring/reimbursement of FC housing, furnishings, Airships, ranks and points?

In the post with regards to World Congestion and Transfer Incentives, at the very bottom this is what is said:

"We plan to continue introducing new incentives and updates following the release of 4.0, including bonuses to accommodate the transfer of entire free companies and free company housing."

As of right know the incentives for housing only applies to Personal Housing and in order to transfer you still have to disband your FC and in order to do that you have to relinquish your land, which you're not supposed to do for personal housing as specified in the above post.

I doubt you'll get any of the above though I do wish this would be a thing for all player housing.

I've only seen this.

There are some XP , Gill, and re reimbursement on housing.

This was on the bottom:

All that thus far applies to Personal housing, but for housing bought though FC a system still hasn't been implemented. In order to transfer you still have to disband FC and you'd have to relinquish your land.

Also hoping for an update on this. We've all transferred to Omega, but an alt is left behind holding our actual FC while we wait to transfer it over. The airship progress is the main concern due to how long it takes to level up all 4 airships and unlock all 24 zones due to the randomness.

Also extremely curious how we're going to be able to transfer housing, if there's no housing still available? (still have some left in the Goblet on Omega, but other servers won't be that lucky).

The Airships were a big one for us. If they treat to FC plots like they did with Personal housing I'd have no issue with just getting reimbursed and buying or waiting for an available plot on the new server. But a lot of time and gil went into those ships.

Me and my gf are also waiting for an FC Transfer. We don't have a house since we're on Balmung so all we really want is to be able to transfer the fc itself with its ranks and Gill storage intact. We're hoping they at least do this before the new housing opens so we have a shot at an FC house in a new server.

If you don't have a house/airships, I don't know if I would wait. If you move from Balmung to a preferred server, you can take all of the gil by putting it on your characters. You'd have to restart the FC but ranking one up is honestly very quick if you're moving through stormblood. My FC from Balmung restarted on Coeurl last Tuesday night and we'll be rank 8 today with 14 of us.

Considering leaving an alt to remain until FC transfer is available. I just hope they don't apply any short of restrictions that screw us over....
