    Switch servers? Your friends can play there and you will get bonuses. The restrictions are in place for good reason. They want to push people away from the server, simple. Alts aren't really a thing in XIV so no need to cater to them.

    I have my old FC that still plays so moving isnt an option. And it is not really "catering" to them, there is just no actual reason that benefits the game or population with this restriction. I can only play on 1 character at a time so whichever character i'd play, it doesn't affect the server at all. And on top of that the server is Jenova, which doesnt even have a login queue like most other worlds lol
