Christmas Event?!

Hey, I was just wondering of anyone knew what/if the bells around town do anything?

I have found 3 in Grid and Uldah ( have not checked LL yet.). You can target them and ring them by hitting it with a /snowball.

I did the first part and got my deer suit already but now I'm wondering about these bells.

I also just found a random ??? outside the tanners guild in grid but when clicked on it say I find nothing.

Anyone have any ideas?

So an update.

Found 3 bells in LL as well. Rang all three of them and still nothing..maybe something to come later.

its a nod back to the first events that involved ringing the bells. i take that back That consisted solely of ringing bells. As far as i can tell the only reason they are there is so we can throw snowballs at them.

It wasn't only ringing bells. Last year's event had us delivering presents.

So the bells might just be there for fun to throw snowballs at or for the coming new year's event? All good ideas. Guess we wait and see.

That's for one of the LTW class quests; it's been there for a long time.

During the last live letter from yoshi-p he showed a pic of the deer suit and a Chocobo in Christmas armor. Saying it was part of this event or something..
