DPS why don't you know your rotations?

They simply need to add more halls, like the hall of the novice that is currently in the game. Make a hall of the intermediate and a hall of advanced. This would help, currently within the game its hard to really understand how your abilities work together. Take BLM for example, you start with blizzard and fire 1. Later you get blizzard and fire 2 which are AOE, but then you get blizzard and fire 3, which totally changes the way you play with no explanation on how to use these new skills. It then gets worse when fire and blizzard 4 are introduced.

I'm asking people why it is that they don't DPS as well as they could. I saw it in the entirety of Heavensward as well. Please stop going at such great lengths to misinterpret what I say.

Because when I try to find a rotation video its a slew of super fast ability weaving with little to no explanation and an unmentioned mandatory requirement of little to no lag. I play summoner and the rotation videos I have found are terrible. Excellent DPS numbers, but horrible explanation, if any. My connection is over 260ms, which, to translate, is really slow so ability weaving like they do in the videos is very hard. Give me a video or a small-ish text document with step by step, detailed instructions and I will absolutely learn the rotation.

You are kinda contradicting yourself. Anyway, no offence but, your thread is technically a "git gud scrubs" thread. In every game that has ever been created, there have always been people with lower skillset. And thats the way it is supposed to be. We arent all the same. The best we can do is help them as much as they can be helped, not judge em.

for me: Those class nerfs and "chanings" are so pissing me off, I totaly ignore Gauge Bar at like 90%! =_= I do a gauge skill when I want to! >_> On classes like Ninja/Paladin: I dont use Gauge bars at all, becaue the 'reached 100% Gauge' sound is an extremy loud "KBBRRRZZZZZT!1!" As for monks and other classes with Positional atks: I hate and totally ignore them! I really hoped monk would get at least for PVE another STANCE(not a lame 15sec skill with 90sec cd..) that ignores such position crap. Bards dont have that crap too... I mean: Ranged with Bow and Arrow and atk power always the same no matter if enemys is close to you or far away... And uh.. I dont bother with people if they play to wrong or to good. As long they dont Afk Im fine! o_o I dont know these people, that might have a bad or terrible day.. I dont judge!

Arent you happy about BRD tho? You never used wanderes stance in 3.0 you said, since you do more dps without it and could move a lot more? So BRD should been good for you.

I pull around the same, but I also know there's probably a more optimal rotation for BRD out there somewhere. It also stands to reason people have varying rates at which they learn, so while some may only only need an hour or learn a rotation, or can just learn it on the fly (that's kind of what I did with 4.0 BRD so far), others need longer to adjust. There are still aspects of new BRD in adjusting to, so I never claim to know everything there is to know about my job this early in the expansion lol. I'm sure there will be a lot of changes to all jobs throughout Stormblood just like in ARR and HW.
