DPS why don't you know your rotations?

If you would play a single player game, it would be completely your choice to be good or not. Just don't cry if you will not finish the game or parts of it.

In a multiploayer game you have some respnsibility. Thats the point you seem not to understand: you are not playing alone.

To be fair, in both cases, it's rarely so strict that you can't complete anything without optimal play. In single player (at least my experience through Final Fantasy), you're nearly encouraged to try new styles and play around with your kit.

You don't have quite that level of niche applications here, but still, there's not a whole lot of anything that requires perfection, and the stuff that does, probably less applicable to the audience of the thread, considering players that aren't engaged in perfecting their rotation probably aren't intent on competing in Savage or whatever anyway.

Nobody is talking about "perfection".

When we talk about players, that do perform far beolow 50% of what good players do, for example who does less than 500 dps while this player should be able to do around 3500 to 4000 dps, its something to complain about, when this player is doing content in a group with other players.

Its also in general a point to complain as this is one of the main reasons the content is getting progressively less challanging.

When you are not able to find a way to perform well your own, the its time to read a "how to". Its the same as solving computer issuses. When you don't find the solution you own, you ask someone or google for it.

I don't know... I have no issues doing Ex Primals and general content without watching mechanic videos or rotation guides. Part of the fun is learning the game yourself.

This. Some people just need time to get used to the way things are now, what might have been an easy adjustment for some isn't always as easy for everyone else. Give it a few more days/week or so for people to adjust completely.

I more worried about the lack of support skills (like goad) from DPS altogether.

A lot of people haven't realised that they have access to those support skills. I have both the TP one and the MP one on my bard as I enjoy providing party support but I have seen several dps who don't have them on their bar.

I actually got asked for Army's Paeon and not for the party crit buff but for the TP refresh. I actually had to explain that it didn't work that way anymore.....

Just gonna echo this. In terms of my BRD opener/rotation, I lost so many offensive CDs and oGCDs and so many of my skills changed into something completely different that I have to really mess around with them to form a new, optimal opener/rotation. I'm still getting used to the changes SE made to BRD, and I'm sure others are in the same boat with their jobs.

And really, considering the effects of BRD songs when Troubadour'd, I think BRD rotations will still be more priority-based rather than a solid skill 1 > skill 2 > buff 1 > oGCD 1 > skill 3 > etc like so many other jobs.

Yes and no. You see either people expect others to do their job, the ones with parser(sorry had to bring it up) and find out the maximized opener. But in other hand, you did once tell people you found out on your own without a parser, so shouldn't be hard for the rest of us right? I mean I spent a few hours tweeking and seing what I could improve on DRG opener and I found out what's best for now. As in theory crafting, what's best stats etc now, I have no clue, since nobody been really doing it.
