We're a small core group of friends who've met over the last 15+ years in various MMO's. We're looking for like-minded individuals to achieve our long-term goals.

Currently we are ramping up our efforts to build an 8-man static. This is a great time to join a group early on and make some long-term friends!
We own a FC House with all facilities - providing our members with a great base to operate from and regularly run dungeons with everyone who is interested.

Dungeons, PotD & Trials

We love dungeons, PotD & trials, especially with guild members. Any member who needs help only has to ask. If people are available we'll be there before you know it.
For most of our members this game is first and foremost a social experience and a way to wind down and relax in our spare time.
If you can relate to this, we're already going to have a pretty good time together.

Raiding

We're looking at least to tackle the 8-man raid content as a group. For this, we are currently building a core static of people interested in doing so and we'll work together to find the best schedule which works for everyone.
This will be a static group with 1-2 spots that rotate for more casual members who wish to experience this content without any undue pressure or commitment. If this sounds good to you - drop us a line.

Social

Whilst Teamspeak is by no means required, we do ask that members at least join in 'listening' mode during harder dungeons and raids. We understand some people are shy - so join to listen for a while if that makes you feel more comfortable. We're not that scary, really - and we're a pretty social bunch.

A Home for Everyone

We're not looking to run another hardcore guild. Been there, done that - and this simply doesn't fit into our lives anymore. Some of our members are there purely for the social experience, they are real life friends who just want to gather, fish, craft, play through the main story quest-line and occasionally hit some dungeons with friends. And that's perfectly fine.

Our core and leadership is a little more serious and can occasionally hit the dungeons pretty hard. And that's fine too - we all pay our subscription fees and play the way WE want to play. We won't go around telling people what class to play, when to play, what to do or any of that nonsense. You donate as little or as much to the free company as you can spare and are willing to - you will never get pressured by us.

We have recently purchased a Free Company house, where everyone chipped in a little. We've since fully equipped it with all facilities that would be useful to people - making it an extremely convenient base of operations for our members. We also have a workshop and our first Airship is operational and out on missions.



A willingness to Learn

This requires a separate section as it's easily misunderstood. Let me make one thing clear: We are not an elitist bunch who will paste DPS logs at you or tell you off for doing things 'wrong' or in some sub-optimal manner. We will not tell you to change class, or any other such nonsense. But we do ask each and every member to be open minded and willing to learn.

Mistakes are fine. Wiping is fine - we'll have a good laugh and move on. We'll try to explain what went wrong and how we can improve next time - and that's where you come in. You need to at least be willing to *try*. We don't expect you to be amazing after some feedback, we're a patient bunch and we'll help you in whatever way we can. That could be helping you gear up, giving you advice or anything else you may need. We'll try to do so in a constructive way and we're not after making anyone feel bad. You won't get guild kicked because you can't reach some magic made up DPS number.

That all said - if someone makes the same mistake over and over and literally doesn't want to listen to any feedback at all, you'll likely not fit well in the group. We like people to say "what can I do better" after a fight, and do not encourage a blame culture or one where people cannot own up to their own mistakes.

We've had some fresh reinforcements join the past few days, so any newish player to the game would have a great time levelling right now.

We are probably good on tanks just now, but could sustain one additional healer and a few dps. (People aiming to experience raid content at end-game)
If you don't really care about raiding, or are a crafter/gatherer/social butterfly - you're obviously welcome regardless. We just don't want anyone to be disappointed at end-game if there isn't a static slot for them.

We still have space for a few DPS in our future static. New players are absolutely welcome, even with 0 raid experience, we're patient people and are more then willing to take you on a learning journey.
Especially useful: Melee DPS (Ninja, Dragoon, Samurai) & Bard.

Note that raiding is NOT mandatory in your FC - you're very welcome to join on any class & role and simply make friends, do dungeons and any other activities. As long as you're a friendly and social person, you're very welcome! Half of us are currently going through Heavensward, with the first few people having hit level 70. We've collected enough gil for a FC house (but ran into the usual 'lack of space' issue) though we keep at it to shoot for something a big more spacious.

This is a great time to jump on-board and make some long-term friends. We're online pretty much every evening helping people through their MSQ dungeons & other runs. If you've got a good sense of humour and are generally a friendly, helpful individual - you'll fit right in. Drop us a line if you have any questions or want more information!

Oh! And I forgot to properly introduce myself. My main is AST, and my long term goal is to master casters (especially healers). I've mained healer for almost ten years now across many MMOs, and I absolutely love the way dungeons play in this game.

I need a healer friend though. Someone to share in the joys of keeping the rest of the gang alive, especially our crazy tanks!

Update: As people start hitting or finishing Stormblood, we're starting to think of what our static 8-man will look like. We're currently very tank heavy, but do have space for 1 more healer and several DPS.

Hey Guys,

Since our last update we've finally managed to secure ourselves an FC House in the Mist - come visit us at Ward 4, Plot 58 (Subdivision Southwest).

We've got full facilities available for our members and we're proud at the hard work each and every member of the FC has put in to achieve this milestone.

Meanwhile, we're starting to look at what we need to build a proper 8-man static and we can still take around 2 more people - one healer and one DPS. Ideally WHM/BRD - but honestly, we care more about you as a person than the class you play.

Outside this - anyone looking for company, friendship, help with dungeons and anything else is very welcome!
