I think this is the kind of incoherence you get when someone is really, really, really frustrated.

Come on guys. His point is easy to understand. He was illustrating that it's foolish to try to get used to changes when the changes themselves are flawed and senseless. He made a example of a ridiculous change and challenged you as to whether or not you believed it was okay to put up with it. His argument is based on the point that the changes to battle and classes are bad. I don't entirely agree with him that the changes are that bad, and it was an extreme example, but it was far from nonsensical...
