With all the queue nonsense still happening and minor frustrations still about, I thought it a good idea to step into a different topic of a lighter note. Namely, one of the best primals I've yet to see in FFXIV: Susano.
A primal not set on destruction, but instead of revelry. Literally a primal for celebrations and booze. His personality during the cutscene when he was summoned had be beaming with excitement. Similarly to Ramuh, Susano wasn't looking to punish the children of man for anything. Instead, it was just a good natured contest between combatants, with no hard feelings.
He is an amazing enemy in combat, having players need to keep on their toes when fighting him. From what I've seen so far, his mechanics force players to keep on alert at all times with the sheer number of things he can throw at you. I like that his phase transitions aren't over exaggerated with camera pannings like Lakshmi and the level 70 trial boss.
His theme is very lively and ranks up there with some of the catchier primal themes I've heard. The only thing I don't like in Susano's OST is that the part where it repeats the same tune 4 times in a row should of had an alternating up note and down note between each tune set like how the beginning of the OST has.
I've found Susano to be the best primal hands down so far. What is everyone else's top primal in FFXIV so far?
